Renewal of the NSAPDP's President's Mandate
Today, the 2nd November 2010, Romania's Senate has decided upon the appointment of Mrs. Georgeta Basarabescu in the position of president of the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.
The mandate's renewal constitutes an acknowledgement of the high standards at which the activity of personal data protection is carried out in Romania and creates the conditions for the continuation of the performant operationalisation of the national supervisory Authority.
