On the 18th of December 2019, a meeting was held with the representatives of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) at the premises of the Supervisory Authority, during which various aspects were discussed regarding the application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the context of the infringement of data security, ensuring the transparency of the controller in relation to the data processing activities, as well as framing some processing based on the consent and/or legitimate interest.

Also, on the 19th of December 2019, the representatives of the Supervisory Authority participated in a meeting with the representatives of AmCham Romania, during which some aspects were discussed, mainly regarding: the GDPR requirements regarding the elaboration of the codes of conduct, the evaluation of security incidents, establishing the quality of controller, processor and joint controllers, informing the data subjects, processing of special categories of data, monitoring / video surveillance of employees.
