The celebration of 10 years since the establishment of the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing by Law no. 102/2005 offers our institution an excellent opportunity to organize the Debate “The protection of personal data in the context of new technologies development” on the 10^th of June 2015 at Palace of Parliament.

This anniversary event will address topics of present-day referring to the protection of personal data ensured by the public and private data controllers. We suggest debating on the implication of the usage of new technologies like: cloud computing, cookies, remotely piloted aircraft in the context of the development of the new technologies in the recent years.

We hope that this event will constitute a forum of debates which will prove to be helpful in the activity of the participating public institutions, private companies and non-governmental organizations and of professional unions.

The access of mass-media will be based on the existing accreditations at the Palace of Parliament level.
