Press release regarding the NSAPDP annual reports debate
On 27th of April 2009, according the agenda of the Senate meeting, at points 5 and 6, according to Article 5 of Law no. 102/2005, the annual reports of the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing were presented.
Mrs. Georgeta BASARABESCU president of the supervisory authority was invited as guest at the debates.
Taking into account this opportunity, the activity carried out so far by the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing was considered as positive and the support for maintaining the independent and autonomous character of the authority was reiterated.
